She was an interesting person who accomplished a lot in a short life. Hopefully, her image as a computer programming pioneer has inspired other women to enter what was a male-dominated field.
Thanks for dropping by James. There are many conflicting opinions about what her true contribution was. But I don’t think there is much doubt about how important her collaboration with Charles Babbage was. I think she’s a great symbol for national computer education week.
